I ASKED SCOT GOV and they are still saying DO NOT reapply unless invited to do so.
I have seen others mention in the group that some have reapplied without being invited to do so and they have been paid on their 2nd application attempt.
In my position as ‘middle man’ I can only share with you the facts as presented to me by Scot. Gov. when I raise these questions on your behalf.
Unfortunately, I am not privy to the UMi system data and neither are those members of the group giving speculative advice based on hearsay.
Scot. Gov. say those in the system who reapply should be met with a ‘duplicate’ message if they are still in the system.
However, Scot Gov advise that if this happens, that action also flags up that someone is trying to make a duplicate claim using same criteria – their words not mine.
