Update following meeting with Scot. Gov iro. processing your NSE & MCC grant applications.
* Requested application extension to 23rd March.
* Requested reapplications accepted after applications close providing already in the system – IE have an application number.
* Those with CoA – change of address we will continue to refer.
* Those using PayPal for their business transactions – applications passed for review.
* Personal name on bank statement should not cause skew apllications if all other checks
match – keep me posted
*UMi payment process / notification – requested auto generated emails portray reality – IE worst case scenario to be notified – not best case!
* I did tell them in our entire Facebook group only one application which flew through the process;- as far as I am aware!
As of today;- 11 March 3pm
18700 applications received
7000 successful applicants – paid totalling £28 million
4500 rejected and invited to reapply
2800 of the 4500 rejected have already reapplied and are counted in the 18700 headline figure.
*14 days is current minimum processing time – any applications requiring additional review / scrutiny will take longer to process. *14 days period IE 2 weeks. This is not ‘UMi working days’
Current high failures due to;-
* Bank statement for wrong period or information can’t be read.
* Applicant used type of account IE NAT WEST Gold instead of Joe Bloggs.
Joe Bloggs is required!
* UTI number incorrect
* Sort Code and or Bank Account Number incorrect
